On the topic of pools, when I was 19 I worked at a resort that had heated pools. I walked in on a couple enjoying the pool but they had asked me to raise the temperature. I walked over to the where the thermostat was, closed the door and chilled for a few mintues. Eventually I walked back over to them and said "it should be warmer now". They agreed and said "Yes, it's great thank you!" When in reality, their bodies just got used to the water!😂 Just a random memory I wanted to share with you!
