I think this angle makes my legs look longer. I'm not tall, obviously. Only 5'4" and below average. The heels alone add 4" of height. I can actually reach the ground! haha. Most of the time my legs dangle off of the stool like a little kid. Furniture is not optimized for short people. Tall people have the same problem, too. I can't reach above the fridge without a stool, but I do fit well on airplanes. My mom says I'm 'vertically challenged' 😂

My sister did my makeup for this shoot. She modeled casually before I got into it. Actually, she ran in a state pageant a few years ago! Didn't win, but it was really cool to see her on stage. My only knowledge of beauty pageants before then was that reality TV show Toddlers and Tiaras and the Sandra Bullock movie Miss Congeniality. So I didn't really know what to expect. I think I was a little biased at first (pageants tend to get a bad rep) but it was an awesome experience and she loved it. Kinda makes me wish I did something like that.
